Privacy Policy
How APIPulse collects, uses, and protects your information. We keep our commitments simple: we collect only what we need, and we never sell your data.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Introduction
APIPulse Inc. (“APIPulse”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the APIPulse monitoring platform and website at apispulse.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our Services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the Services.
- Account information: your name, work email address, and a password hash. We never store plaintext passwords.
- Usage information: the endpoints you monitor and metrics about them (uptime, latency, error rates), plus logs of your interactions with the dashboard.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processors; we do not store full credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Email Address
Your email address is used only to send you the following transactional communications, and nothing else:
- Registration verification emails (to confirm that you own the address you signed up with).
- Password reset requests you initiate.
- System notifications and security alerts related to your account or the security of our platform.
4. Our Commitment on Email
We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes, and we will never use your email address to send unsolicited commercial or promotional mail. Your email address is used solely for the transactional purposes described above.
We send email only where we have obtained your explicit consent (an opt-in), or where a message is strictly necessary to operate or secure your account (for example, verifying a new signup). You may withdraw your email consent at any time by contacting us, and we will stop sending even transactional messages to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Lawful Bases (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data under the following lawful bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Services), our legitimate interests (operating and securing the platform, preventing fraud), your consent (where we ask for it, such as email communications), and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences, such as light or dark mode. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage of our website. We do not use advertising trackers.
7. Data Security
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, and least-privilege infrastructure. Access to personal data is limited to personnel who need it to operate the Services.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Monitoring metrics are retained for the period described in your plan. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; we will delete or anonymize it within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law.
9. Data Sharing and Subprocessors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers we need to run the platform — for example, our cloud infrastructure and email delivery provider (Amazon Web Services / Amazon SES) — each bound by a data processing agreement and used solely to deliver the Services.
10. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and the European Union. When we transfer data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Email us at support@apispulse.com to exercise your rights.
- If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and, where required, by email to the address we have on file.
